Hello to all the readers that are gathering and filling up my comments boxes.
I have heard your requests for better navigation, more links, more ideas and better links to the RSS Feed (cover icons courtesy of Matt Forsythe). As a school teacher and instrumental tutor, who is also undergoing a Masters in Music Technology, it can be difficult finding time to make creative and interesting blog posts. I also want to make my website a repository of links and resources for others.
Therefore I am developing my top toolbar menus (pictured below) so that more resources, videos and creative websites are linked here – for you and my current students. I have added a 3D tag cloud for quick searching of tags and a Web 2.0 link for resources that can work wonders in the classroom. There are already plenty of websites out there but I am more focused on presenting musical web 2.0 resources. So that link will feature such innovations as online score program Noteflight and more.
So as the next few weeks unfold more resources will be added (such as the icons shown below) and organised in a more intuitive fashion.
If you would like a copy of the grey buttons icons on my website I have attached the .zip file here. They are all in PNG format and can be re-sized with ease. Grey Buttons Download
thanks for your facts, turned out being really useful.
Can I just say what a relief to find someone who actually knows what theyre talking about on the internet. You definitely know how to bring an issue to light and make it important. More people need to read this and understand this side of the story. I cant believe youre not more popular because you definitely have the gift.
