I am a music educator who also teaches guitar privately.
As such I am continually faced with the problem of my students learning fantastic pieces but never getting a chance to perform them in a real live setting. Therefore I created Fridays @ 5 with my local Gloria Jeans coffee shop to host music performances each week. The result has been outstanding and not only do I have students practicing more but they are keen to get up and perform. Watch the videos below to see how much fun I have had doing this:
