I teach a small – but growing – class of AMEB Music Theory students. As you would expect many are at different levels. I have around 6 students studying Grade 2 and most are in secondary school, but one is in fourth grade!

To assist them in their understanding of key signatures, relative minors, cadence rules and voice ranges (etc etc) I made up the Music Theory Ruler © to help them. It is essentially a ruler sized laminated piece of card with a keyboard, fretboard or sax fingering on one side; and a collection of harmony rules on the other side.

Each student received one and we have used them extensively in each class. They have become quite popular.

If you are interested in purchasing a set send me an email.
